Usually fashionistas dont understand whats behind every collections, everybody think only about the creative side of this job, designers, trend-setters etc etc... and then they think cloths born suddenly, mmh... everybody wanna be stars or designers and nobody understand whats the real effort behind each creations and especially where and how the story begins... we were thinking about it today cause we have started to color our cashmere/silk/cotton raw materials and even if the outlook of a yarn-industry isnt glamour as to sit in a yacht outside Portofino, we think you must be able to stay and deal with both the spots... dudes, check where your future sweaters are borning...
well actually we've already started with the first color, now we are spinning it and the color is Pantone 19-4027 TCX, check it here...
when we need a break we just step outside the factory and watching the sky we notice that, our two china-italy flags embracing as lovers and we proudly say: <<my gosh what we have done>>
we usually spend 11/12 hours/day in the factory and at the end coming back in our Beijing home we look dead but trust us... energy is loading for the next day, we never stop...
same as usual we spend nights around eating and talking about our different realities, countries, biz-situations, we deeply talk about new upcoming generations and what do they search and expect from new cloth brands... just products with the same fake fashion stories or something more?! Pls think about it, we are doing the same...
Even if really tired we go clubbing sometimes, the Beijing spots are several but we like especially China-doll, stilish disco right in the middle of Sanlitun area, close to cool stores such as AmericanApparel and Uniqlo. Mat&Mic check them out...
Once traveling on Emirates to Asia, I was sitting close to a writer, and he told me:<<as far you will look, as far you will go>> ...since then I try always to direct my eyes as far as I can, not easy sometimes cause when you dare you get out the "mass" and you remain alone. I proudly think young generation should act the same... when there's no spaces, go and struggle searching for...
...at the end of the game we go bed, everyday is more/less a trip like that and no matter where you are, you create... and as far it exists, there will be something cool to buy in cool stores around the globe.
